My Tribute to "Burning Man"

Every year at the Burning Man Festival, they build a huge representation of a man, and then burn it to the ground. Not sure what the symbolism is there...perhaps a reductionist view on ego...

Whatever the case, I took a the chance to use the Springfield Falls addition as the "center" of my own version..."Peeing Man," which like the famous Nazca Lines in Peru, which is supposedly an alien landing strip...this one has to be seen from the sky to really see all of the features.

I used walls to create the hat...plants to shape the hair, hands and face...streets to create the body and feet... and Homer's swimming pool to create the mouth...which makes the "Peeing Man" sneer, when Homer is sitting in his pool.

When Whacking Day came along, I could not resist using snake stumps as nipples.

I have had several family members point out, that the water is flowing the wrong way to actually insinuate full urination...I was more interested in the shape of the cascade...and didn't want to resort to calling it "Douching Man."
